The services you may not have suspected
1. Corporate signage on glass
Vitralux runs a UV printing machine that prints directly onto glass: logos, office numbers, door plates, wayfinding panels. The result is permanent, resists cleaning products and is graphically far better than any sticker.
2. The two-way mirror
MIRASTAR® by Saint-Gobain: glazing that acts as a mirror on one side and stays transparent on the other, depending on the lighting. Applications: bathroom-to-bedroom partitions in hotels, fitting rooms, observation rooms.
3. Signal-permeable treatment
Modern glass façades block WiFi and 5G. Vitralux applies a treatment to the existing glass that restores signal propagation without replacing the glazing. It is a unique service in Luxembourg, with considerable business-to-business potential.
4. Vitrapolish — polishing scratched glazing
With a mobile polishing machine, Vitralux can remove scratches from glazing already in place, with no dismantling and no replacement. Applications: lifts, automatic doors, façades scratched by vandalism.
5. Smoke curtains
In a fire, smoke curtains stop smoke spreading and keep escape routes usable. Vitralux has installed them in Luxembourg shopping centres including Auchan, Belval Plaza and Cloche d'Or.
6. Pool and tank glazing
Glass walls for private and public swimming pools, relaxation pools and aquariums: made-to-measure glazing with FEM structural analysis to guarantee resistance to water pressure.
7. Stained glass restoration
Vitralux restores historic stained glass in Luxembourg churches and listed buildings: replacing broken pieces, re-leading, reinforcing the supporting structure.
8. Acoustic glass
Glazed partitions certified to 51.6 dB of sound insulation (certified by Fraunhofer). Used in open-plan offices, studios and conference spaces where transparency is wanted without sacrificing the acoustics.
9. Trophies and glass objects (Vitrophy)
Through its Vitrophy department, Vitralux makes trophies, medals, keyrings and objects in glass or acrylic for companies, sports federations and events in Luxembourg.
10. Letterboxes and aluminium profiles (ALU-CO)
Through ALU-CO, Vitralux supplies and installs high-quality designer letterboxes, parcel boxes for apartment blocks, and made-to-measure aluminium profiles for architects and contractors.
