Which domestic glazing does Vitralux replace?
Flats, houses, managed blocks: every replacement pane is made to the exact size of your existing frame.

Every replacement pane is cut and worked in the Vitralux workshop in Howald, to the exact size of the existing frame. Our own teams fit the glass and reseal it with silicone.

Visible misting between the two panes means the perimeter seal has failed and the argon has escaped. A misted double-glazed unit cannot be repaired: the whole unit has to be replaced. Vitralux makes the replacement unit to the exact size of your frame.
Yes, in the great majority of cases. The glass is taken out (the existing putty or sealant is removed), the new pane is cut to the exact size of the frame and refitted with a new silicone seal. The frame itself is left alone.
For a standard replacement (single glazing or a double-glazed unit), the job usually takes between 30 minutes and 2 hours depending on access and size.
