Deubl Alpha Office Glass Partition — German Engineering for Your Workplace
Deubl Alpha Systeme, Munich: the German benchmark for high-end glazed office partitions. A hinged door, a carefully made architrave, electrical services built in from the start — every detail is worked out for quality and durability in demanding working environments.

Deubl Alpha: Bavarian precision meets contemporary design
Founded in Munich, Deubl Alpha Systeme is one of the most respected European manufacturers of glazed office partition systems. Its systems combine German technical rigour with clean, pared-back design: slim profiles, millimetre-perfect junctions, a full range of glass types and finishes. Every element is designed to sit comfortably in demanding working environments: open-plan floors, executive suites, meeting rooms, reception areas and corridors.
Vitralux is the dealer and installer for the Deubl Alpha system in Luxembourg. We take the whole project in hand: technical study, measuring up, layout design, ordering the Deubl components, making the glass in our own Luxembourg workshop and fitting it with our specialist technicians. One point of contact, from quotation to handover.
What sets the Deubl Alpha partition apart is the quality of its hinged doors with an architrave: a finishing element that wraps the perimeter of the door and guarantees a thoroughly professional result, with no gap between the partition and the door and no untidy junction. It is the system chosen for projects where the company's brand is reflected in the quality of its workplace.
The Deubl Alpha system: a full range for every office situation
Deubl Alpha is a modular partition system: every element (glazed panel, solid panel, door, service run) has standard connection dimensions but is entirely bespoke in its finished sizes. The panels connect to one another with precision through post, transom and finishing profiles. The result is a continuous, smooth and professional partition.
Glazed panels
Full-height glass panels (floor to ceiling, or with an intermediate transom). Available as single glazing or double glazing depending on the acoustic brief.
Solid panels
Solid panels in melamine-faced board, lacquered glass or aluminium: for low base panels, high spandrels or any area where transparency is not wanted.
Hinged doors
A glazed or solid leaf with an architrave on both faces. Single or double leaf. An integrated door closer is available.
Sliding doors
Sliding doors on a track built into the partition. The Deubl Glas Schiebetüren system.
Service profiles
Post profiles with built-in containment for electrical cabling, sockets and switches, straight inside the partition.
Finishing profiles
Junction profiles for floor, ceiling, wall and corner, for a clean fit into any environment.

The architrave: the hallmark of Deubl Alpha quality
In a standard partition, the gap between the door frame and the adjoining panel is usually masked with a silicone joint or simply left as it is. In the Deubl Alpha system that gap is handled by an architrave: a finishing profile that covers the perimeter of the door on both faces of the partition. The architrave gives a thoroughly professional result, removes every visible gap between door and partition, and makes upkeep easier.
- Covers the perimeter of the door on both faces of the partition.
- Removes gaps and visible joints.
- Supplied in the same finish as the partition profiles.
- Suits both single and double leaf doors.
- Makes the door-to-partition junction easier to clean and look after.
A door for every use
Single-leaf hinged door
The most common arrangement. A glazed or solid leaf swinging on two or three hinges built into the partition profiles. An architrave on both faces.
Double-leaf door
Two leaves opening at the centre. Ideal for wide openings and for meeting rooms where a broad access is needed.
Door with a closer
A surface-mounted closer, or one concealed in the head profile: quiet, automatic closing. Ideal on busy circulation routes and in air-conditioned spaces.
Sliding door on a track
A sliding arrangement built into the partition: the door runs inside the partition or alongside it. Nothing taking up floor space.
Door in frosted or solid panel
The door can be frosted glass, clear glass, tinted glass or a solid panel, depending on how much privacy you want.
Lock and ironmongery
Key, thumbturn or badge lock: the ironmongery is built into the Deubl profiles for a clean and secure result.

Sockets, switches and data straight inside the partition
One of the great strengths of the Deubl Alpha system compared with a plain glass partition is its ability to take the electrical installation directly within the posts. Dedicated post profiles (100 × 50 mm) carry containment for the electrical cabling and allow switches and sockets to be fitted straight into the profile.
That is particularly useful on office floors where the partition has to distribute power to the areas it defines: no more surface-mounted trunking, no more cutting into the suspended ceiling to run services. The partitions themselves become the route for the services.
- 100 × 50 mm post profile with built-in cable containment.
- Switches and sockets fitted within the profile.
- Compatible with Luxembourg electrical regulations.
- Coordination with the electrician during the site preparation phase.
Making your Deubl Alpha partition your own
Clear / low-iron glass
Full transparency. Maximum light, a visual connection between spaces. Low-iron glass takes the green cast out of standard glass.
Satinato / frosted glass
Translucent: diffused light with no direct view through. The most widely used answer for meeting rooms and private offices.
Tinted Parsol glass
Grey, bronze, green, blue: coloured through the body of the glass, so permanent. It cuts glare in brightly lit areas.
Decorative film
Frosted banding, etched zones or a printed logo film: partial privacy and a chance to work in your company's colours.
Acoustic double glazing
Two panes separated by an air cavity: better acoustic and thermal insulation. Compatible with the Deubl profiles designed for it.
Profile finishes
Silver anodised aluminium (the standard finish, discreet and durable), white powder-coated (clean and contemporary), black powder-coated (strong contrast, prestige offices) or the RAL colour of your corporate identity, on request and subject to availability.

Our Deubl Alpha projects in Luxembourg
Vitralux has installed the Deubl Alpha system in several Luxembourg companies. Every project is unique: a bespoke layout, with glass and finishes chosen to suit the company's culture and the architecture of the space.

Your questions about the Deubl Alpha partition
Yes, and it is one of the fundamental advantages of the modular Deubl Alpha system. The profiles and panels are screwed and clipped together rather than bonded: they can be dismantled, stored and rebuilt in a different layout. The glass is made to measure and so cannot always be reused as it stands, but the profiles and ironmongery can be, in full. That is an important argument for companies that expect to reconfigure their space.
Yes. The Deubl Alpha system offers dedicated post profiles (100 × 50 mm) with built-in containment for the electrical cabling, so switches and sockets sit directly within the profile. The partition then distributes power to the areas it defines, with no surface-mounted trunking and no cutting into the suspended ceiling.
Yes. The Deubl Alpha base profiles are designed to sit on a raised access floor, which is very common in modern office buildings. Adjustable base profiles take up the difference in level and keep the partition perfectly plumb. Vitralux settles the raised-floor junction detail during the technical site visit.
The standard Deubl Alpha system needs a fixing at the head of the partition (floor, ceiling and adjoining walls). Where fixing into the ceiling is not possible, the TWS 1000 system is the right answer: see the dedicated page on the free-standing TWS 1000 partition.
