An LED mirror needs a dedicated power supply behind where it will hang. If building work is under way, run the conduit before the tiling goes on: Vitralux will give your electrician the technical specification.

Your questions about mirrors
Yes, every one of our mirrors is made to measure in our Luxembourg workshop. We cut the glass or the acrylic to your exact sizes, whatever the format: a small bathroom mirror, a large dressing room mirror or a full mirror wall for a gym. Get in touch for a free quotation.
A plain mirror is ordinary silvered glass. If it breaks, it produces sharp shards. A safety mirror is laminated — a film is bonded between two panes (the AGC Easy Safe system) or applied to the back. If it breaks, the fragments stay bonded to the film instead of flying across the room. Safety mirrors are required in buildings open to the public, in hospitals, schools and public spaces.
Our LED mirrors can be built with: perimeter (halo) or full-surface backlighting, a dimmer (10% to 100%), adjustable colour temperature (from warm 2700K to cool 6000K), a demister, a magnifying mirror (3× to 10×), a digital display (time, date, temperature) and a built-in TV screen.
We carry 6 standard colours: bronze (a warm golden reflection), grey (a cool, contemporary reflection), antique silver (an aged look), blue (a steel-blue reflection), green (a soft natural reflection) and gold (a bright, luxurious reflection). Through our partner Antiquemirror.it we also supply hand-aged collector's mirrors (mercury, faceted, Venetian).
An accessible mirror is one a wheelchair user can actually use. Its mounting height (bottom edge no more than 90 cm above the floor) and its safety build-up (laminated glass, always) follow the accessibility rules. It is required in every building open to the public, in office buildings with washrooms and in accessible housing.
Yes. Our workshop has a laser cutter that will produce any shape in acrylic mirror: circles, ellipses, letters, logos, silhouettes and complex geometry. In glass we cut rectangles, squares and made-to-measure shapes, including bevelled and rounded edges.
For a gym we recommend large-format laminated safety mirror (panels of 2,000 × 1,000 mm and up). Laminated glass is a safety requirement here. The panels are butt-jointed with clear silicone joints, so you get a continuous mirror wall with nothing breaking the reflection.
Yes. Vitralux measures up on site, manufactures in our Luxembourg workshop and fits the mirrors with our own qualified technicians. We work for private customers, tradespeople and companies right across Luxembourg. Book an appointment for a free estimate.
Yes. An LED mirror needs a dedicated supply with a spur in the wall behind where the mirror will hang. If building work is under way, that conduit has to be run before the tiling goes on. Talk to your electrician early — Vitralux will supply the technical specification you need.
