Made-to-Measure Glass Shower Screens in Luxembourg — Every Type
Walk-in shower or closed enclosure, clear or tinted glass, chrome or black: Vitralux makes your shower screen to measure in our own Luxembourg workshop, from a single pane to the complete installation.

Where precision meets good looks
A made-to-measure shower screen is far more than a pane of glass put up in a hurry. It is a centrepiece of the bathroom, and it has to fit your space, your shower tray, your choice of finish and the way you live to the millimetre. One millimetre too much or too little makes a screen unusable or plain ugly. That is why every Vitralux shower screen is made to measure in our Luxembourg workshop, after we have measured up precisely on site.
Vitralux makes made-to-measure shower screens across Luxembourg in five main configurations: the walk-in shower in its three variants (with a bracing bar across the opening, with corner bracing, or full height), the enclosure with a sliding panel, the enclosure with a hinged door, the step-free enclosure that meets the accessibility rules, and glass doors and screens for saunas.
Five glass types are available on every configuration: standard toughened glass, Clarvista glass with a beading effect that makes cleaning easier, tinted toughened glass (grey, bronze, green, blue), glass with bespoke digital printing, and mirrored or gold Arcon Decochrome glass for prestige projects. Profiles and fittings come in chrome, matt black, gold and any RAL colour.

All five glass types below are available on every Vitralux shower screen configuration.
Standard toughened glass
The benchmark glass for any shower screen. Heat treatment makes it four to five times more impact-resistant than ordinary glass, and if it does break it falls apart into small, blunt-edged pieces. Clear and completely neutral, it sits happily in any interior.
Clarvista toughened glass — beading effect
Toughened glass with a water- and oil-repellent coating: droplets bead up and run off the surface instead of clinging to it, so limescale and soap marks are far less of a problem. Cleaning the screen takes two to three times less time than with standard glass.
Tinted toughened glass — grey, bronze, green, blue
The colour is part of the body of the glass and will not fade over the years. Tinted glass is also slightly translucent, letting the light through while creating a more intimate feel.
Toughened glass with digital printing
Any design applied straight to the surface: floral, geometric, photographic, stone or timber texture, or your own artwork. The print is applied before toughening and is therefore permanent — it will not peel, and it stands up to moisture and everyday cleaning products.
Mirrored or gold glass — Arcon Decochrome
Toughened glass with a metallic coating that gives it a strikingly refined mirrored or gold appearance: mirror, gold, silver or subtle metallic tones. The first choice for prestige bathrooms, hotel suites and projects where the shower has to make an architectural statement.

Clarvista glass comes with a technical certificate covering its water- and oil-repellent coating. You can download it below.
Worth knowing — keeping limescale at bay
The Clarvista beading effect can also be applied later to glass you already have. See our limescale protection for shower screens and, for a design of your own, our digital printing on glass.
Choose the finish of your shower screen
Hinges, tracks, handles and bars come in four colours, the same across every configuration.
Chrome
The most classic and the most versatile finish. It suits every bathroom style and sits easily alongside chrome taps.
Matt black
Very much in demand: black gives a bathroom a confident, contemporary edge. Ideal in minimalist bathrooms and industrial interiors, with matching black taps.
Gold
Brushed or polished gold depending on the model. It brings a note of luxury to the bathroom — much in demand on hotel projects and in high-end homes.
RAL colour of your choice
On bespoke or themed projects the profiles can be powder-coated in any RAL colour, so they sit perfectly with the rest of the bathroom.

Your questions about made-to-measure shower screens
For shower screens the recommended standard is 8 mm toughened glass. That thickness is stiff enough for frameless screens with no side profiles, while keeping the weight sensible. On special applications or very large formats, 10 mm may be the better call.
Not necessarily. A standard screen bought from a DIY store usually has to be adapted with extra seals and profiles, which pushes the final cost up and spoils the look. A Vitralux screen is made to the exact dimensions of your space: the result is cleaner, tighter and longer-lasting. The total cost is often much the same, for a distinctly better job.
Yes, in most cases. Vitralux measures up on the existing tray and makes the screen to the exact dimensions. What matters is the condition of the tray and whether it is level. If it is damaged or badly laid, no screen will seal properly against it. Our technicians assess that during the measuring visit.
Clarvista glass with its water-repellent coating is the answer. Droplets bead up and run off instead of clinging, so limescale deposits are far reduced. Cleaning takes two to three times less time than with standard glass. The coating is available on every Vitralux shower screen configuration.
Yes. Our fitting teams work throughout the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg: Luxembourg City, Esch-sur-Alzette, Differdange, Dudelange, Ettelbruck and every other part of the country. The measuring visit is part of the service.
