Glass WC cubicles and partitions
Our glass WC cubicles turn shared washrooms into spaces that look cared for and are easy to keep clean. Doors and screens look light and elegant thanks to their perfectly smooth surface: they suggest transparency while staying completely opaque, for the highest level of privacy.
Clean design, worked out down to the last detail
The ironmongery sits inside the edge profiles of the glass, so nothing protrudes at the front. The joints between panels are covered by the internal profile — the whole assembly is fully opaque, with no line of sight from outside. The glass carries no cut-out or hole that could create structural stress, which greatly reduces the risk of breakage.
Locking that thinks ahead
No handle and no visible ironmongery on the outside: the lock sits inside the cubicle. The knob only turns once the door is fully closed, so the bolt never drags on the floor. A vacant / engaged indicator (green / red) is built into the profile and can be read from both sides. Emergency opening from outside is possible.
Adjustable floor clearance
The screens stand on height-adjustable stainless steel feet with concealed fixings that take up any fall in the floor: a practical gap for cleaning and a low floor clearance (approx. 155 mm ± 6 mm) for greater privacy.

Urinal partitions and splash screens
Our urinal partitions and splash screens give privacy while holding back the spray. Glass is the ideal material here: quick and easy to clean, it meets every hygiene requirement. The fixings match the design of the WC cubicles so the whole washroom reads as one — special sizes are available, with or without floor clearance. Three fixing systems, depending on the setting:
Clamping profile
Aluminium profile 46 mm wide, available in heights of 2,010 or 2,500 mm, for 6/8/10 mm glass. The glass is clamped with Ø8 screws: a robust and unobtrusive fixing. Available in chrome, black or any RAL colour.

Continuous stainless steel angle 50×50 mm
Stainless steel L-angle 50×50 mm, 750 mm long, in stainless steel or any RAL colour. Slightly rounded corners. A bespoke system designed by Vitralux for out-of-the-ordinary settings. Available on request.

Klemmbefestigung Pauli+Sohn
90° wall-to-glass connector with no visible mounting plate, PVD stainless steel finish. For 6/8/10 mm glass. A Randausschnitt R30 cut-out (30×30 mm) is required in the glass. Adjustment of ±1.5 mm through a slotted hole.

Which glass should you choose for a urinal partition?
Vitralux makes and cuts the glass in its own workshop in Howald. Urinal partitions are made to measure to the exact size required, in 8 or 10 mm toughened glass depending on the fixing system chosen.

Satinato is not recommended for this application
Satinato glass turns transparent on contact with water, which defeats the privacy you are after in a washroom. Go for lacquered glass, Ätzimmitation glass or clear toughened glass instead.

Frequently asked questions about glass urinal partitions
It depends on the wall thickness available, the height required and the look you are after. The clamping profile is the most common solution for a standard installation. The Klemmbefestigung suits projects where a discreet fixing comes first. The stainless steel angle is the bespoke answer for non-standard settings.
Satinato glass (standard frosted glass) is produced by sandblasting or acid-etching the surface. On contact with water, that treatment loses its opacity and the glass turns temporarily transparent. In a washroom, that rules it out. The recommended alternatives are lacquered glass (completely opaque) or Ätzimmitation glass with a high white content.
