Plain wired glass is a cast glass with a wire mesh welded directly into its body during manufacture. Recognisable by its visible mesh, it has been used for many years in industrial buildings, workshops, plant rooms and refurbishment work.
Its clear finish allows good light transmission while keeping the authentic industrial look of traditional wired glass.
If the glass breaks, the wire mesh helps hold the fragments partly in place and limits how far they scatter.
