Deloitte Luxembourg — Roof glazing in a hard-to-reach position
Two roof panes out of reach in normal conditions, replaced at night: a Liebherr crane, a powered glass lifter and four technicians in harnesses on the glazed roof — coordinated to the minute with Luxtram and the City of Luxembourg.

The starting point on site
The Deloitte buildings at Kirchberg had two failed panes in a glazed roof that can only be reached from above. Working in business hours was out of the question: the roof sits directly over an occupied space, and access meant closing a Luxtram track temporarily. The only workable window: at night, in close coordination with Luxtram and the City of Luxembourg.

The Vitralux solution
- A Liebherr crane (STEIL) set up on the public road once the Luxtram track was temporarily closed
- The two failed panes taken out from the outside by technicians in harnesses, secured on the structure
- New panes lifted by crane and taken in on the roof with a HEAVY DUTY powered glass lifter
- New panes fitted and sealed: precise positioning, weathertightness and a final clean
- Luxtram track handed back before the morning traffic started
Coordination, safety and night work — the Vitralux signature.
