Replacing a cracked canopy pane on a commercial building in Hollerich — laminated glass with heat-strengthened plies, a truck-mounted crane and technical access.
The challenge
The starting point on site
A building in Hollerich had a cracked canopy pane. Replacing it called for handling at height and a particular technical access. The pane, laminated glass with heat-strengthened plies, had to be taken out and replaced under the safety requirements that apply to overhead glazing.
